Rev. Karen Maurer

Welcome to the website of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Rialto, California! I am glad you "surfed" in for a visit and hope you will find it helpful.  If you are searching for a spiritual home, we invite you to give St. Peter's a try.

If you long for a Church that is loving, commited to following Jesus Christ, steeped in the Anglican Tradition while accessing both traditional and modern hymns, then St. Peter's may just be the place for you.  We teach, study and preach the Holy Scriptures here, enjoying the love, grace and mercy available to us through Christ as we strive to live into the pericorisis--the "dance" with our Trinitarian God.  We believe that healing miracles still happen and have seen the evidence of our Healer working to heal physically, emotionally, relationally and spiritually.  We have a great deal of fun together as we serve God in this place!

In addition, St. Peter's has long been involved in reaching out to the local community as well as embracing Outreach to the needy worldwide.  We are passionate about living out the Great Commission, choosing to provide for the hungry and those who are seeking meaning in an otherwise meaningless world.  We believe that meaning is both sourced and found in God through Jesus Christ.

Come join us in this great adventure!

In Christ Alone,

Karen Maurer+

Please join us every Sunday at 9 am for worship and Holy Eucharist.

Nets for Life

Did you know that 3,000 people die daily from malaria, most of them children?  Join us in sending Nets for Life to those at greatest risk of contracting this preventable disease.  The people of St. Peter's are chipping in to help stop these needless deaths.  Through Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD) we are having a 'net' drive.  Every Sunday (and any other day someone wants to give) we are collecting $11.00, the cost of one net.  The great thing is that along with the insecticide treated net comes education on how to use it.  The malaria-bearing mosquito population will be reduced for every net given and one or more lives may be saved with the gift of a net.  Join us in helping to put an end to deaths due to malaria.  Send your $11.00 care of St. Peter's and we will be sure it gets to ERD and another mosquito will go up on our Outreach board as another of these disease-bearing critters bites the dust in malaria-plagued countries.
